![]() Permanent Positions on the Rise. What this means for youSince January 2006, the number of permanent roles for documentation and training specialists has significantly increased. This trend is reflected in an increase in the number of permanent roles currently on our books and recent responses to our employer survey. 32% of respondents indicated that the demand for permanent staff is likely to increase this year. A further 64% indicated demand would stay the same. As a result, we're expecting contract work will become more project based and shorter in length. Long-term rolling contracts are likely to decline as employers look to hire permanent documentation specialists. This is good news for those of you who prefer to work in permanent employment. Contractors, however, may need to reevaluate how they look for work if they want to keep themselves continuously employed. Employers also need to be mindful of increasing competition for the best candidates. A prompt decision making process is essential to secure your desired candidate. If you think the candidate you're considering is a good prospect it's likely there is another employer who thinks so too!
