  2. An understanding and application of communication principles and best practices.

  4. Knowledge and skills in using technology and tools to create information products and the ability to assess and learn new ones.
  5. Visual design and production.
  6. Technical skills or area of subject matter expertise e.g. IT, engineering, finance.

Here are some tips to help you win the job.

  • Gather knowledge about your prospective employer.
  • Know the name of the person you are meeting with.
  • Dress for success.

  • Turn your mobile off.
  • Do not speak negatively about your previous employers.
